The GDCh-Fachgruppe Analytische Chemie honours with the Fresenius Lectureship renowned younger university lecturers from German-speaking countries. The named lecture was established in 2011 to mark the International Year of Chemistry and aims to bring the latest research results from modern analytical chemistry and the fascination for the discipline as a whole closer to a broad audience of chemistry experts in Germany. In the current mode, the Division Board nominates two persons who can be invited as lecturers to the GDCh colloquia of the GDCh local associations over a period of two academic years.
All GDCh local associations are cordially requested to consider the current Fresenius Lecturers for their lecture programmes - please announce each under the heading "Fresenius Lectureship of the GDCh Division Analytical Chemistry". Lectures are scheduled directly between Fresenius Lecturers and the inviting universities. The Lecturers' travel and accommodation costs are covered by the Division of Analytical Chemistry.
