The network for all areas of magnetic resonance
The GDCh Magnetic Resonance Group (FGMR) has over 500 members and has been promoting the scientific and technical progress of magnetic resonance, representing the interests of its members and communicating the importance of the method for science, research and development since it was founded on 12 September 1978 in Ettal Monastery.
The FGMR brings together all those interested in magnetic resonance methodology from science, practice and theory, from universities, industry and research institutes. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the method, the extensive network spans the fields of chemistry, physics, biology, life sciences, medicine, food chemistry and technology as well as polymer and material sciences. The methodology includes
Known fields of application include analytics, dynamic structural biology, pharmacy, medical diagnostics, metabolomics, materials research, battery development, catalysis and process and quality control. The FGMR combines all of these facets under one roof and is excellently networked with German and international scientific organisations.
