The workshops focus on securing and continuing a business and address all people interested in the topic among other things. In addition to the perennial favourites of marketing, advertising, customer acquisition and sales topics such as cost control, company presentation and others are also offered.
The next workshop for the self-employed will take place on Friday, 6 March 2026, 10:00-16:00, on the topic "AI tools for knowledge workers - increasing efficiency without tool traps" in Frankfurt am Main. The speaker will be Hans Christian Lehmann, HCL Consulting.

Registration takes place online and is binding. Cancellation is only possible in writing up to 14 days before the start of the event with a cancellation fee of 15 €. In the event of cancellation after this date, the full invoice amount is due.
Participation is independent of GDCh/FFCh membership and is also possible for non-freelancers

The workshops for the self-employed have evolved from the "Forum for the Self-Employed", which in turn emerged from a series of events under the title "Business Start-up Forum". The topics were initially very specific to chemists who were either planning to become self-employed or had recently become self-employed.
